Why attend?

At a time when technological advancement is rapidly transforming society, collaboration between scientists, engineers, and policymakers is more critical than ever.

The TASP Summit aims to:

  • Bridge the gap between research and decision-making
  • Amplify student and early-career voices in science and technology policy
  • Foster collaboration across academia, government, and industry
  • Promote evidence-based policymaking in emerging fields
  • Inspire action, from policy proposals to interdisciplinary partnerships

We bring together scholars, policymakers, and industry leaders to explore how scientific innovation can inform effective governance.

The TASP Summit empowers participants to turn ideas into impact—encouraging collaboration across disciplines to address today’s most urgent technological, environmental, and societal challenges.

About the Summit

Founded by students at Brown University, the summit reflects the growing recognition that science and engineering cannot exist in isolation.

Breakthroughs in technology require:

  • Thoughtful communication
