Get Involved

We're interested in collaborating with people at all stages of their education and in a wide range of disciplines.

Joining CNTR is an opportunity to connect with a community that believes in real engagement and meaningful relationships. We're not just about adding another line to your resume; we're about building experiences and connections that will enrich your academic journey and beyond.

Come discover how our commitment to meaningful affiliation can help you grow, learn, and thrive alongside individuals who are passionate and driven.

Who you are

Whether joining a current research project, contributing to papers or reports, creating media, or helping us get new programming up and running, there are many ways students can participate with CNTR.

You might be:

  • a builder, keen to prototype and develop open-source tools, or
  • an advocate passionate about public discourse and educating others on tech's impact on civil rights, or
  • a collaborative connector looking to build partnerships and ensure responsible tech development, or
  • a creative storyteller eager to explore technology's influence through narrative and media, or
  • some combination of any or all of the above!

At CNTR, we offer a place for you.

For Students

You might be able to join a research project or a reading group or even propose your own idea!  We occasionally have undergraduate research assistant positions available - just search “CNTR” in Workday.

For Faculty, Staff, and others

Discover how your unique skills and interests can contribute to building a better future with technology.
