Brown CS faculty members Serena Booth and Suresh Venkatasubramanian have just been appointed to co-chair the AI and Algorithms Subcommittee, whose recent work includes responses to government RFIs, techbriefs, and statements on chatbot use.

The Conference on Language Modeling (COLM), held from October 7–10th in Montreal, Canada, is an academic venue focused on studying, improving, and critiquing the field of language modelling. This year, COLM brought together over a thousand researchers from around the world. We'll be sharing reflections by CNTR researchers who attended COLM.
